Redefine Black love owner Nikita Banks had the pleasure of being on Hot 97’s radio show, “Street Soldiers” with Lisa Evers. A few months ago Stores like Barney’s and Macy’s Flagship store were both in the national news after they stopped people who legally paid for their purchases and accused them of stealing.
Despite producing receipts and proof of purchase they were still detained and arrested. Nikita Banks taught a shop lifting prevention class at Manhattan’s Midtown Community Court. The catchment area of the court includes all of the high end stores in Manhattan. According to a lot of people who have come through the shop lifting class as a result of taking a plea agreement often complained about the unlawful and unfair tactics used when they were detained and arrested by the store’s loss prevention specialist.
